This has been discussed elsewhere, but I think it merits a new thread.
The ending to Lost: Via Domus revealed that the entire event was a time loop, ending exactly where we began...only things were different this time around. We know that Darlton wrote the ending. The ending makes little sense within the confines of the game. Conclusion: The ending to the game will connect to the show. Given "The Incident", it seems to me that Jack's decision to leave the Island experience via detonating the bomb will put him back at day 1, only this time things will be different.

Dunno I didn't think it was a dream, I thought they looped back in real life
I'd like the fact that they warped back, even though I don't completely understand it XD

I watched it again and it either seems like a dream or a situation identical to the one Desmond had after he turned the failsafe key.

I would hope they would not include the same ending for the game in the show. To many people would catch on to that. Perhaps he ended it with a time loop because that has always been the most popular theory.

If it wasn't a dream then it was identical to what happened to Des without a doubt...thats why I still believe it was a dream because I don't think they would do that either. Of course 99% of the game isn't canon so who knows.

I personally really enjoyed the ending to this game. I think it would be very interesting to have season 6 start similar to how the game ended. It wouldn't be a full on reset, because *most* stuff would be the same. Not really able to explain myself well, but think along the lines of Groundhog Day.

If you ask me, the ending was done precisely because it will contradict the show. This was their chance to do the "it was all a dream"/"you can change the past" ending.
The game isn't canon, the vast majority of LOST fans have never played it, and it sucks beyond belief. As a writer, why would you waste what is possibly your only chance to do an alternate ending? Equally, as a writer, why would you throw away the genuine ending to the show several years early in a crappy videogame? I don't believe a sequel was ever in the works? Ratio - the S6 trailers have no new footage in them. That's a re-used shot from the Pilot episode. And you can't stop 815 from crashing on the Island and have 815 crash on the Island. That's incredibly contradictory

Now that I've seen a few of the episodes for season 6 I'm beginning to wonder if the game ending isn't a foreshadowing of the end of season 6 ie this constant loop.
