Is it easy to get 1000/1000 gamer points?

Hey everyone I am going to rent the game tommorow from my local Family Video, and want to know if it is easy to get all 1000/1000 Gpoints? I am a achievement whore, and playing a lost game will only fuel my desire to get all 1000/1000.

Yeah, it's easy. You can get all the achievements in one play through but you have to know where things like the Dharma Van and Pearl hatch are.

Took about 6 hours to get the 1000, and I'm pretty sure I used every conversation option and missed nothing story wise.

Any regular/hardcore gamer will walk through it.

Yes it is. I got 905 on my first run through without even trying to get all of the achievements.

Good then. I want to get all the achievements before giving it back.

I wish it was a bit more challenging like The Orange Box! 99 achievements, some are SOOOO hard.

just read the secret achievements before you play past the part because its annoying going through certain bits and finding them. like for example looking at the objects with 4 8 etc to get to medical station - one part on the beach the objects are not there!

You can always replay through individual episodes afterwards, if you want to get the 1000 points. It isn't a particularly difficult game!

I'm actually working on The Orange Box achievements now. Some are pretty hard. I recently did the one where you have to carry a gnome through all of Episode Two. It's really not too bad.

Oh that's cool, I'd get really annoyed if you missed something and then couldn't go back and complete it without starting a new game.

I haven't played the game yet, though I intend to buy it when I finish my exams in June :-)
