Default Discuss "Slaughterhouse-Five" (main thread)

Just to let everyone know. Hope everyone has a copy by now - if not, get your skates on! For more details about this month's schedule, and what will be November's book, check the Blog.

Note: this has now been renamed to the main discussion thread for the book.

hey all, just thought I'd pop on here to say hello! I follow the LP blog, but didn't think I'd be able to get onto the book club because of book availability over here in Brazil and because of a tight schedule on my part. However, I've come across a bit of free time and managed to order myself Slaughterhouse Five online so I'm in! Oct 1 I'm on it like a rocket. B

I just finished it. A little bizarre just like Vonnegut is, but not a bad read in the end!

Hooray!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok well, this is my first book since ive "joined" the book club. and I must say, it id probably the best book Ive ever read. Well, it is really up my alley, to say the least. I dont know where to begin!

The first line of the book is classic. We learn about Billy Pilgrims problem right off the bat. I suppose Ill wait to see what other post before I start posting my ideas but its a great read and I hope everyone reads it.
