John Locke.
The smoke monster is masquerading like Locke. John Locke is dead in the 1970's Reasons: 1) The smoke monster can take the form of the dead, has done it, will do it again. 2) Locke mysteriously has new-found info of the Island 3) Ben calls the monster, out of the bushes comes....Locke 4) Locke knows what Ben has done wrong (weak reason: picture etc.) 5) Title: Dead is Dead, hint to the fact that locke is dead 6) Locke goes to get "something to help ben up with", smoke monster appears, very Clark Kent, no? |

If you're referring to a promo/preview, those are considered spoilers here.

And I really do think that something happens when dead bodies are brought to the Island... How else do we explain Christian? I don't think Locke is simply dead... PLUS.. how would the monster have Locke's memories?

Um. What?
IF IT'S IN A FUTURE EPISODE, DON'T POST IT IN THE MAIN FORUM.

"...the name of the next episode is on the front page of wiki"
Why should episode titles be considered spoilers?

Talk to the Mods about it. It's not the title, really, it's that fact that this OP is revealing stuff from the episode, and if he read a spoiler and posted it as a "guess" there will be a lot of very pissed off people, myself included.
They changed the rules to avoid this kind of mess. And the rules were always not to discuss previews. But some people just register and don't give a crap if they ruin the surprise for people.

I understand that the theories that Locke is really the Smoke Monster, but what does that have to do with him being dead in the '70s? John Locke was living out his life in the 1970s.
