I know, its a prickly subject isnt it!! I just think its criminal when anyone is turned away because they dont have the money....thats frickin medieval man!! How is the move goin?
Don't get me stated on health care. I think it should all be run extremely competative to bring down prices. I'm not a fun of the system insurance companies are causing over here nor am I a fan of socialized healthcare.
Dont listen to 'em....i luv ya! Although looking at the news today..i dont think many of you think much of us....or our health system (which is wonderful by the way, dont listen to that bloody CONSERVATIVE politician thats been spouting off over there. Hes probably never even used it!)...hey ho!
I think there are probably just as many lazy Americans as there are Brits, proportion wise. I already know what foreigners think of us.
I admire your optimism..hahahahaaaa!!! I always say i will get rid of stuff, and organise...but it just ends up with us trying to get all our crap in the place & shut the door as quick as possible...."I'l get rid of it at the other end.....once weve moved it all"....im still lugging all my stuff, im used to it now...i like all my stuff We are an odd breed, dont you think? I can only imagine what us Brits look like from the outside.....
Yeah..I've learned a lot about you Brits since joining LP. And I'm finding stuff I forgot I had in that junk room. I am going to be soooo much more organized in this new place.
BWAhahahahahaa...i love the language barrier..it means its very quick!! Im sure you will find loads of great people to chill with, as long as you stick with the freaks & the geeks...you will be just fine!!x (We also still have boxes with stuff in from when we moved here...about 5 years ago!!...ALL HAIL THE SLACKERS!)
I'm moving about 4 hours a day to central MO. It's a whole lot more liberal than this one so hopefully I'll find more people to hang out with. Yeah, I've only got about 8 boxes packed so far but I'm not moving for another 3 weeks so I'm just going to do a little at a time. Some of the stuff is still kinda packed up from the last time I moved, which was a year and a half a go. I'm promising myself to be more organized at my new place. And yay for the new car but I'm not familiar with the euphemism "shit off a shovel". Is that good for bad?
That sounds fantastic!! Where is it your moving to (it will of course be honoured by your presence!!).packing is a pain in the arse (ive moved a lot!), you have my deepest sympathies...nasty dude! Im doing the same old same old, but my holiday is coming up soon, i definitly need a break. Oh, and we got a new car...its cuter..and happens to go like sh*t off a shovel...hahahahahaaaa!!
