I understand season one but a network doing that with season 2 seems really odd to me. I still haven't finished watching those DVDs
RF......I was just searching some old threads and found the question from you about the length of NORTHERN EXPOSURE's first 2 seasons. Season 1 was short because NoEx was a Summer replacement show in 1990. Season 2 was short because CBS used it as a Midseason replacement. Season 3 was the first full season of NORTHERN EXPOSURE.
While a good owner can definitely improve a teams chances I think Arthur Blank is proof that you need more then that.

During O'Reilly's letters tonight he got a letter which said. Newsweek saying they aren't left wing is like the Detroit Lions saying they have a winning team. Thought you might appreciate that.
Yeah if he wins I'm definitely willing to give him a clean slate and watch what he does but it sounds like what he is selling is the same stuff liberals have been selling for years so I'm not optimistic about his ability to change Washington. Ah well I've got to be getting off and getting some sleep so see you later man.

I have no problem with fairness and seek out opposing views fairly often, lately I've been listening to some very liberal talk radio (on shoutcast-internet radio) some of the things I've heard I just posted in the political debate thread a bit ago. What do you think of John Gibson's suspicion that if Obama wins we will have another Jimmy Carter in the Presidency but if anybody criticizes him they will be label a racist? I could definitely see that happening.

It's not as bad for me in Local News but, it's still there. My News Director and I had a disagreement a few days ago......he wanted to "slant" a poll question to "assume" that most people disapproved of Sarah Palin......I pointed that out.......I WON !!! The success of FOX NEWS and Talk Radio has made things a little better but, now the Liberals want to use the "FAIRNESS DOCTRINE" to silence Talk Radio. If Obama's elected and the Dems hold on to Congress....you can count on it........
No sorry to disappoint you but I had read it a few years ago. Being a right leaning type of guy I knew there was a bias in the media since about midway through the Regan administration but most people never really think or put things together like he did in that book. When he talked about Acid rain I was like OMG that's right they used to harp on that all the time and now I haven't heard them mention it in years.
