Cool Clear Inflences? Part II

Hey there,
I thought it would be interesting to share this with you

I read an article about a plane crash (check out the link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/KAL_007) and it seems to me that this crash really influenced the authors of Lost.
It's about a Korean Airlines' plane flying from Anchorage to Seoul which went off its planned flightpath, as in Lost , then it flew over some very sensitive military area and was finally shot down by a soviet missile somewhere above the Pacific ocean. However only 2 !!! dead bodies out of the 269 passengers and only very few parts of the crashed plane have been found afterwards. There is even a committee for the rescue of this crashs survivors which was created by the son-in-law of one of the victims. They believe that the plane did an emergency descent and that many of the passengers are still alive!! (http://www.rescue007.org/about.htm)
Furthermore a big part of the passengers were Koreans as the plane was from KAL and on Lost we have Jin and Sun... 2 Koreans.. Now, I personnally don't think that all of this is a coincidence...

What do u think???

Mmm, possibly a coincidence. From the extras on the Series one DVD, the creators said it was meant to be Survivor - The TV show, only it evolved beyond that when given to Abrams and Lindelof. Also, Sun auditioned for Kate, only she was so good they decided to write a brand new character for her. The Korean characters weren't planned, so they can't have inspired the show.
Good theory though, and well researched.
