Default Book Club's Future

Hey guys, I'm afraid I've decided to deop myself on Lostpedia. I don't wanna have a big chat on this lol, but obviously this impacts on the book club as I'm part of it. I think it should be more informally decided solely here on forums what book to read each month. I will continue to help coordinate what books we should read each month with you guys, just in a non-op capacity

Let me know if you have any comments and we can discuss here what to do next. Thanks guys!

Well I know I don't post here all the time but I try to when it's a book I've read.

I just want to say thank you for the work you have done for the book club.

It's a great part of LP.

Thanks man, that means a lot. I just hope my removal of rights doesn't equal the total end to Lostpedia and chats about books - as I started the book club to do my bit with people reading great literature and this place being like the cornerstone of Lost analysis.

I'm sure the chat will continue though.

Thanks for getting it all started, I'm positive the book club won't come to a halt. A lot of people seem interested in this, including me, thanks to you so don't worry about no more book discussion

Thank you for making the book club

although i don't post much I do appreciate it

I have been meaning to read the Lost books for ages and you starting this was the kick start that i needed and I like the idea that other peoples comments on the same books are all in the one place

I just need to read the books a bit quicker

I just dropped into the Book Club to check it out, hoping there were threads on individual books.

With 6x04, it now seems that several books not seen on the show per se are highly relevant:

Heart of Darkness, Conrad
Watchmen, Alan Moore
Beyond Good and Evil, Nietzche

I'M fairly new to this site, but have read nearly all the books. And long before Lost. Have been planning to start reading these posts and participating by doing rereads.
Can't find any local bookclubs that don't read well written books (I don't care for the usual romance/spy types)
I picked up on Lost's books as soon as I started watching it; would have watched Much earlier if I'd known! (I usually don't watch the "popular" tv shows) caught up w/ Lost just in time for season 5...
Would love to do all the books after season Finale. Would give me a great reason to come here once it's all "done"!
