Havnt read it but, to those who have
do you think there are any other references to find , now knowing a bit more about Jacob and that guy in the black shirt on the beach.

In the bible Isaac had two twin sons Jacob and Easu. Easu was the older but for some reason his birthrite to Isaacs riches was passed down to Jacob instead. Naturally this kindled great hatred between the two. On his death bed Isaac made Easu promise he wouldnt kill his brother( to inherit the loot) which Easu did.

Easu hired mercinaries to kill Jacob instead so he wouldnt break his promise.

Possibly Easu is black shirt guy .....possibly Bad Twin reference? anyone?

i am currently reading bad twin...and actually when manny suggests that cliff is actually his missing brother zander, he mentions that history is full of brothers posing as eachother....and his example is jacob and esau.

not sure if it really means anything, but it did excite me a bit!

i actually am liking this book a lot more than i thought...i assumed it would be very poorly written...rushed to publication...etc...but i cant put it down....i havent ever really read a mystery before, so it might just be the excitement of that....

anyways it is full of cute little lost references...like when paul is in LA he eats at mr.clucks....i think its worth reading if you are a lost fan...its not too long... and during this long wait, its something to fill the hole left in our hearts hahahhaha.

I was always under the assumption that Stephen King wrote it. Since he was such a huge follower and he was always being promoted. or was that a rumor?

"you burned the bad twin. shames on you" i think that was it....cant remember who it was though

I read it, though it was decent enough, but nothing spectacular. The blurbs probably the best bit !

I am obsessed with the book cover and the shadow S-making the name Bad Twins. S5 finale cemented my thoughts about duality in show and possible twist-bad twin, alas, may be Jacob. All Losties having a twin/dual timeline? Mindblowing!!!

I haven't read it.

But I have read the LOST Novels that some company put out awhile back. They only made like 3 of them.

Basically they were "based on LOST" and each one followed a supposed redshirt character. Telling their backstory through Flashback like stuff and then experiencing some of the on island stuff. They'd have brief encounters with some of the main characters and witness some of the big events that took place during the first season. Pretty lame, but they were really cheap at Walmart (like 4 bucks).

They try to decieve people though. Like the first one has a picture of Kate on the cover, but it's not about Kate and Kate isn't ever mentioned in the book. Basically just trying to draw LOST fans in.

Pretty sure they weren't considered canon either.
