That was a stampede. I got a URL from the Lost Args chat, but then saw that Desmondia on twitter had one from the bag they were giving away at the store which was different. They both seemed to work to get to the poster, but I changed it to his. Here are his pics of the bag- much thanks.

I decided not to try for this one- but don't know if I could have gotten it anyway. Yesh.

Sorry to hear that Digital. Yes, it was hard to find the store- there were people who went in. I had looked for the store on Google maps and couldn't find it either, then I saw a comment posted on a store review site about it being inside.

Is that 1 hour and 22 minutes, or 1 minute and 22 seconds? Either way I can't believe I'm ever going to have a chance to purchase another one of these posters.

where was this one advertised that it sold out so fast? i understand that if a well-trafficked poster-fans site advertises it it'll go fastER, but 2 minutes? seriously? was it hacked or something?

I think it's just that many more people are connected into the information now, and they will buy a poster even if they don't want it as they are sure there will be someone who does. They also all know that to get one they will have to order as quickly as possible. The speed just fed upon itself.

first it was announced the night before on the main DCaP site, that it would be released at 10am friday.
then i just sat in the lostARGs chat room from 9:30 to 10am. it was madness in there.
then at 10am they let people into the LA store and someone twitterd the correct website.
so after we knew the website. it took a minute for the poster to go up
then it took about 10 minutes for it to say "on sale"
then you just buy it as fast as you can.

it was actually a really fun experience being with a bunch of crazed lost fans in a chat room. you guys should do it next time. if you are at work, have a friend do it for you.
because i think all the posters will sell out faster and faster from now on
