That is awesome!@ Being the queen of hearts must have been so much fun for you.. I have always wanted to be Alice for Halloween, but it's hard to find a costume for an adult, guess I should have looked on ebay. I ended up being rainbow brite this year.
You should try the disney version, it's worth a try, it's an original so they couldn't mess it up that much. It's just a much shorter version of the book really.

Found a picture of me as a blonde, but your right.. I still couldn't pull off a good alice... my eyes are too dark, and I don't think colored contacts can go over darker eyes.. I could be wrong. I have until October to figure out if I can be alice next year.

Yeah it seems like I read somewhere or something, that you have to have "light" colored eyes, hazel, green, or blue to wear colored contacts. I don't know though, that was a long time ago, they could make them better now.

Yeah I listen to Tom Petty. I bought Highway Companion last summer and although it took me awhile to get into it, it's a really good album. I've also got Wildflowers and his greatest hits.

I would think that prices went down with the inflation and the way the economy is doing.
As far as rent wise they are not as nearly as bad as they are in some areas of SF.

You can find a nice 3-4 bedroom house between $300-$450 a person in Eugene. Portland is a bit more expensive, but not as bad as $1100+ places in San Francisco.

I pretty much support myself working part time and still have some savings by the end of the month. But back on topic... post some photos folks!!! :D

Well, I took a job offer here running the marketing department for a international arms dealer. Kind of a strange place for a gun runner to set up his business I guess but I suppose it's not the kind of industry where one needs to draw a lot of attention. It is really hard for me to be so far from the warm salty waters of my home to be sure... I tried the whole "Great Lake" thing, but the amount of pollution and generally freaky stuff floating in Ontario turned me off to the whole fresh water thing... Thank god I have a big bath tub :)
