I just recently found out that this was being organized, but I had been doing it myself. I've only gotten through 2.2 "Adrift", however. In re-watching as much as I have, I seem to have noticed a couple of motifs that haven't been picked up on on the wiki.
The first that I noticed is one involving feet, legs, and shoes, as wel as the use of them (ie running and walking). I should have written all of the instances down that seemed relevant, but I didn't. Going from memory, we have:
Christian Shephard's shoes, Kate removing the shoes from a corpse, Charlie and Locke being dragged by the monster by their feet, Locke's, Ben's and Sarah's paraplegia, Charlie stepping on a bee-hive, Michael getting a broken leg from getting hit by a car, Locke getting a broken leg from the blast door, Locke getting shrapnel in his leg, Locke getting shot in the leg, Kate running from everything, Jack and Desmond running in the stadium, Jack twisting his ankle, and last but not least, the four-toed statue foot.
Another thing I noticed was that there is an awful lot of bondage in the first season. People are getting tied-up, restrained or trapped in almost every episode. I'm not going to list all of these mainly because this should be easier for people to find but also because I can't remember them all due to being tired and drunk on Port and Merlot. Maybe later.
