I feel annoyed that i will have to start downloading lost as telewest don't have skyone anymore, which lucky people have sky plus on here?

Anyone know any downloading sites i could get the episodes from?

I'm putting this in the u.k forum and not offtopic as this is obviously aimed at uk people.

I'm just having a look on my Frostwire - a ad free version of Limewire. I'll let you know...
With my measly 1gb connection it will probably take a week to download anyway!

I've got SKY + but that still doesnt stop me downloading the episodes (mainly because I put them on my I-Pod).

But in terms of sites . . . ARES. Thats what I use anyway.

:D .

torrent sites are usually the best, the episodes are usually on their a few hours after they air, torrent spy, isohunt, mininova, pirate bay etc

I'm moving out of my current house on the 9th. Unfortunately we wo't be moving into our new house for about a month, so I'll have a month long gap without new LOST.

And going back to topic: Ares is a great p2p program for downloading stuff [I use it], but it's not so helpful when downloading new episodes as soon as they come out, I usually go to www.apaloseco.com, go to the series section, and the latest lost episode is up just a few hours after it aired, the site is in spanish, but if you are smart, you won't need to understand spanish to get the episodes ;)

We'll be living with my grandma. But hopefully we'll have the portable DVD player with us so maybe I'll at least be able to watch my season one and two DVDs.

But I do have a friend with both SKY and a DVD recorder.

Hmmmm...........

Mutant, I will provide you with the links to the torrents I will be using to get the episodes like I did during the mini season. The combo of Bitlord and Torrentspy has yet to let me down.

Which other channel? I'm gonna need more info than that, I need to decide whether I'm on the wagon or not.

CurbFan

I will gladly do it. :) Mainly because I've already written stuff about that episode in the Episode Discussion forum (I shall have my C&P hat on) and I wanna talk with my fellow Brits about it.

Just an idea for anyone who doesn`t have sky and doesn`t want to get sky. I`m from Northern Ireland and I dont have sky and wont ever consider getting it installed either. I watch Lost on RTE. Plus I get Premiership football on it as well. Plus various other show. All I needed to do was get an aerial installed for the signal and then had to add a power supply and booster for it. All in it cost me about 80quid. I`ve been told that it can be received on mainline UK with the proper setup. (Many people will ty and make you believe it cant be) Just an idea for anyone who doesnt want to fork out money every month.

Not quite. Virgin Media have picked up on 2nd option on-demand rights for Lost. Basically, Sky have Season 3 of Lost on Sky Anytime at the same time as airing. Virgin Media get Seasons 1 to 3 after Sky finish airing it on Sky, and I would assume after the DVD's initial release.

Bloody Sky, why did they have to go and steal it from Channel 4, it was easier back in them days.

Got this wrong the first time.

Virgin took over NTL and Telewest. Both had Sky. However, when merged, Virgin tried to keep paying at NTL's rate: Which was wrong as it was calculated for the number of people on NTL, not Telewest too. They had to combined, as it is practically a pay-per-head system. So they were annoyed. Also, they refused to pay more for Sky as they increased their price, as they would do due to inflation and buying Lost and 24.

Then on Sky Movies, which Virgin had access too, they charged less for them than Sky. Sky took offence. It was Sky's channels.

Well, I'm gonna blame Virgin and Sky.

Although, I never did understand that Channel 4 Lost ad where all the characters were dancing on the beach and Locke was the conductor man.

I'd imagine its on everyones DVD ;).

When I first saw those ads I thought "What the hell? I'm not gonna watch that." In the end I did, obviously, good job too! Why they didnt just show clips of the episode I dont know, that definitely would have made me watch.
