View Full Version : Favourite Deceased Character

Who is it going to be? I'll just go for the major ones.
The Good Twin

I know its going to be an unpopular choice but - ANA LUCIA.
I cant explain it but she was one of my favourite characters and I was gutted that she died (Dam Michael).
A close joint second was Libby (Poor Hurley) and Shannon (Hawt-dog).
:D .

I miss Ana. Watching S2 the second time round, she could have been really useful and interesting. The same applies to Libby I suppose, although I will miss Eko most. I won't miss Shannon though. Spoilt brats are everywhere, but Nigerian warlords turned priest?

Has to be Mr. Eko. Shame he died...

I would have agreed with you up to the third season when he turned all weird - which I know had a little something to do with a little blast explosion - but that put me off him a bit.
In his Season 2 days though - legend.

He must be a good candidate to appear in a vision or two, surely?

I'm not so sure. I think he was killed off because his story was told and his character had run its course.
Is there much more that could be told about him.
The Smiley-Faced Balloon

Boone's character had finished, he returned- was that really to do with his character? AAA (Eko) left to stay + work in the UK mainly, he may return. He would be a good vision, better than Shannon whining or something.

Hmmmmm. Maybe. They might bring him back to help the storyline (in a similar way to Boone). Thats not totally inconceivable.
But hasnt it already been said somewhere that Shannon definitely will be back in some way.

Didn't Adawale hint that to Iain Lee, in his interviews?
The Smiley-Faced Balloon
02-17-2007, 12:34 PM
-Shannon will likely be back in the Pikki Flashback
-I don't listen to the podcasts, it would be nice if he did hint at it.
The Good Twin
02-17-2007, 12:39 PM
In a show like Lost, isnt it highly likely that most of the characters will reappear at one time or another because of the large amounts of flashbacks and meetngs between them all in their "past-lives".
And are the podcasts worth listening to ?

And which ones are the best.

The official podcasts give more hints about the future out, and are better. The UK won't be as good, but may pick things up from interviews. The UK ones probably get all fo their stuff from Lostpedia anyway. :p

I know what you mean about Boone , once he found a purpose with Locke , he seemed much more interesting than when he was hanging around Shannon , like a love sick puppy. Its a shame they killed him off ,I agree there was could have been a lot more to him.

I won't miss Shannon though. Spoilt brats are everywhere, but Nigerian warlords turned priest?
Haha, he was tremendous. The third best character on the show, the second at one point and a close contender for knocking Locke off the number one spot. I think Eko will return in a vision or two.
Ana-Lucia was great, she was a bitch, a mean bitch who screwed Sawyer to get a gun and called him gay, Kate will never do that.
Also, Ethan isnt dead. I'm telling you!
I voted for Boone. I wish we could have gotten more out of him.
The last episode Boone was in was so good that if he wont be able to top it, thusly he should never return. You know who should return? Donald.

Eko, definitely. By referees decision. Eventually Mikhail would be so beat down that the ref would mercifully stop it so that he couldn't keep getting back up and getting smack by Eko's Jesus stick.
Or maybe Mikhail would use the rope-a-dope. He'd have to do it a while, Eko clearly takes care of himself. ;)
Or maybe Sayid would come in and own them both. :)

ok, so we've got:
S7: Zombie Season - 15 Losties get their brains eaten, Alpert, Locke, Smokey, Ben, Sayid, Patchy, Sun, Vincent and Aaron are the only ones left.
S8: The Lost Friends Spinoff Showcase - the 9 of the leftovers move into a loft in the Gay District of the Island (near the Pala Ferry), open a coffeeshop, and have shenanigans... "so no-one told you life was gonna be this way....."
S9: Battle Royale Season - Lone winner is Alpert, but really, Sayid is still alive.
S10: LOST:UFC Season - Alpert vs Sayid...

Well, I may be picking an unpopular character, but I thought that there was more story in Ana Lucia to tell. I was really sad to see her go. She was a kickass chick and I really liked that about her.

I actually thought that moment was a little cheesy. *hides from bodyguard*
Just like the "how long will it take to train an army?" moment, they held it there for so long it was like I was watching the end of an Eastenders episode.
Shut up, you.
