Ending date (somewhat of a spoiler)

I have heard that they are planning on ending the Lost series at episode 100. We are on something like 67 or whatever, so that means that they will end it after 4 seasons! They said that they want to end it while it is still strong, and not let it drag on like ER or something and become a joke.

I wanted to see a season 6 or farther, but meh, atleast we will know answers sooner than expected.

Is this true? Or am I hearing lies?
