Mmmmm...muffins. I am sort of house/brother sitting this weekend. My parents are going to a wedding so I am going to hang out at their place and cart my 15-year old brother around to his soccer games. It's cool, though, because he hasn't seen any of my season two dvds (of Lost, obviously) so we are going to have a little mini-marathon.

One of many reasons to love that bar. The facts that they kept a prominent and accurate table of the premiership standings and always had the Sox game on if there was one going were some others.

Tomorrow will be sick. The bars are open all day. Parade. Last year the cop were just busing the drunks to the station, giving us water and an hour off, then releasing us. Unless you swung at a cop.:rolleyes:

AHAHAHAHA! Carbon I worked at The Melting Pot for 4 years where I lived when I first moved here. :p

It is good food, very expensive but good. :p

It took me YEARS to be able to go back in there, as the smell would permeate everything I owned even though I would walk in the house, strip all the clothes I was wearing and put them the washing machine but would still smell it all through my apartment. :p

HAHA! What a coincidence! :eek: It just opened here Wednesday night. The service and food were freakishly good considering it has only been open for 3 days! It was kinda pricey, for the 2 of us it was $140, but I have no complaints, so it was more than worth the price for me! Funny thing is, it has been pouring rain here for 3 days, so we wore our North Face Summit jackets, then got in the car and I said "OMG, my jacket smells like fondue!" So, I can totally see what you're saying regarding the fondue-ish smell! :D

It was very very bad. But it was a good place to work, it is a corporate machine so it doesnt surprise me that the service was good. I used to have to go to the local ones that opened and work for the first few weeks until they got everyone trained, etc..

Only job I ever got fired from-- True Story. :D

It did seem very professionally handled! It would seem like my cup of tea tho, playing with fire as a job! :o Also, easy to get fired from as well, for the very same reason! :D Pyro's are dangerous! LOL! Did they have the "Lovers Lane" area when you worked there? That reason alone was worth the price in itself. It was so awesomely private! The dessert was rad, and I said to my bf, "If I were too take a chick out with the intentions of banging her at the end of the night, this dessert would seal the deal, methinks!" The wine room was also very boss! All in all, it was a delightful dining experience, and we are already talking about going there again. :D
