Dont worry about comparing Kobe. Each game is different, and can be fun.

Thanks for that, dude, but it's exactly like Illy said, there's no need to compare. I told her once before, I give the most credit to those hosts who create a game completely out of thin air like Sco's Martian Mafia or Zelda's Sanguine Mafia over on TP. Yours, if I'm not mistaken (a high school-based mafia game, right?), is also pretty much an original creation, so kudos to you. My game is just piggybacking off of ideas & concepts which came from some genius writers, so it kind of takes some of the burden of creation off of my shoulders. Most of the stuff I'll come up with will just be from bits and pieces of the show, changed slightly for my purposes, and then reassembled. You have to create it all by yourself. That takes a skill that I'm not quite ready to tackle yet. I look forward to seeing what you come up with.

And no, I don't believe there has been a Family Guy Mafia yet...just Simpsons.

I was actually working on a family guy mafia game right now... And to me I think that it's the opposite. I think that it's easier to make up characters to fill roles, because there's no guidelines that are set, with a book/tv show/movie mafia game you don't have much leeway and have to work with what the writers give you.

But I have a question for whoever reads this. Would you rather play a high school mafia game or a family guy mafia? Because at this point, they both need about the same amount of finishing touches.

I would say continue with whichever one you are more passionate about. For me, it started back during the Lost game when somebody suggested I do a Scrubs Mafia (which I still may get to later). I started working on some things but got distracted with RL stuff. Then I began watching the Doctor Who series, and it was just like some switch had been flipped on in my head. I began associating characters with abilities and so on, and pretty soon, I found myself obsessively pouring over my "new creation." So I would suggest picking one and just sticking with that.

As far as my personal preference, I was just kind of thinking about your two games. Of the two, I'd rather do Family Guy. I've been through high school once already and having to go through it again, albeit in mafia form, is not something I would relish. ON kind of a side note, the first time I saw your high school concept, I thought it might have something to do with High School Musical...in which case I would give ity a HUUUUUUUUUGE

I very much liked the high school one, you shouldn't scrap it.

The Quahog Mafia (8)

All Mafia members have BTSC with each other.

Carter Pewterschmidt – Lois’ billionaire father. He is proper and snooty. He hates Peter with a passion and he has a night kill every night.

Carol Pewterschmidt – Lois’ billionaire mother. If Carter is ever targeted for a nightkill, she can learn the role of the player who targeted him (Death or Stewy).

Adam West – The (mentally insane?) mayor of Quahog. He can discover the role of a player each night.

Dr. Hartman – He can protect a player every night, but not the same player two nights in a row.

James Woods – He can try to recruit a player once during the game. Players with BTSC cannot be recruited.

Horace – He is the bartender of the Drunken Clam. He overhears a player’s conversation with the host every night, but he won’t know who the player is.

The Evil Monkey – He lives in Chris’ closet. He does not have BTSC with the other mafia members at the start of the game. In order to gain BTSC he must find Chris. Every night, the Evil Monkey will PM the host the name of a player that he thinks is Chris. Once he is correct, he is rewarded BTSC.
Rouge/Neutral(3)

Carl – He is a movie junkie and has no life so he likes to get drunk at the bar. Because of this, he will get the same info that Horace hears. He can then choose to send the info to any player he wants. He lives by surviving the whole game.

Herbert – He is an old, creepy pedophile that likes Chris. He will know who Chris is at the beginning of the game, and it’s his goal to keep Chris alive. If Chris is targeted by a night kill, he will have the option to die for him. Herbert wins if Chris lives the whole game.

Death – He is the Grim Reaper. Every night he can make a kill. He wins by being the last player standing.

Secret Roles - 3

Don - The Don makes the final decision over who to kill on every odd night.

Stalker - The stalker can check someone's role each night. May not target same player twice in a row.

Thug - Every night, he beats someone up, and they can't use their power that night.May not target same player twice in a row.

Bribed Doctor - And innocent little guy fresh out of med school who is being forced to work for the mafia. Can protect one person a night

Grave Digger - PMs me every night to find out a role of a dead person.

Negotiator - Every night he sends me a PM with a message with a deal to make between the mafia and that person, and a person to send it to. This person will get the message as anonymous. The person will tell me if they accept or not, which I will relay back to the person. May not target same player twice in a row.

All Mafia members have BTSC

The Establishment (7)

President Gerald Ford - No one elected Ford, and he is angry that so many people say he is president by accident. He goes mad with power and orders a kill on one person every even night.

Cheif Detective Johnson - He finds out the role of one person a night with his detective work. May not target same player twice in a row.

Officer Jones - He loves the sense of power he gets when he gets to beat down some punk. He does this every night and whoever he beats up can't use their power. May not target same player twice in a row.

CIA Agent Steve - Every night he goes on a secret mission and takes someone captive until after the lynch. They may not talk, vote, or be voted for that day. May not target same player twice in a row.

War Vet - A good buddy of Red's that has lost contact with him. If he can find him, Red will join the establishment.

The Funeral Director - Can check out a dead person's funeral and find out their role

Cheif of Medicine - Can protect one player per night. May not target same player twice in a row.

All of the Establishment have btsc

Independant (2)

Casey Kelso - He is mean and doesn't like the kids so he kills one each night. He appears as a random good guys role when role checked. It takes two tries to kill him

~~~~~~~~~~~ - ~~~~~ ~~~~~ ~~~~ ~~~~~~ ~~~~~ ~~ ~ ~~~~~~~~~, ~~~ ~ ~~~~~~~ ~~~~. ~~~ ~~~~~~~ ~~ ~~~~~ ~~~~ ~~~~~~~~ ~~~ ~~~~~~~~~ ~~ ~~~~~. ~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~ ~~~~ ~ ~~~~~~ ~~~ ~ ~~~~~~~~~~~. ~~ ~~~ ~~~~~~ ~~ ~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~ ~~~ ~~~~~~~~~, ~~~~ ~~~ ~~~ ~~~~~~, ~~ ~~~~ ~~ ~~~, ~~~~ ~~~~ ~~~~ ~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~. ~~~~ ~~~~ ~~~~ ~~ ~~~ ~~~ ~~~~ ~~~~
Good Guys (14)
Red Foreman - He is a war vet, and hates crime (and he also hates president Ford, just cause), and will let nothing stop him from stopping it. He makes a kill every night.
Kitty Foreman - No one kills her baby! If someone tries to kill Eric, she dies in his place. She is also the voice of reason in the group (well, actually she's crazy, but she doesn't like killing people.) She can stop 2 lynches and switch one throughout the game.
Eric Foreman - He always did want to be a bad boy. If the mafia finds him, he joins their side, but if Donna protects him, he joins the good side for the rest of the game
Donna Pinciotti - She is strong. She protects one of the gang each night. If she protects Eric, he may not be recruited to the mafia. May not target same player twice in a row.
Michael Kelso - He has recently joined the police department. He is left as the only police officer after Ford goes mad with power. Unluckily, he is an idiot, and he wants to feel needed. He arrests one person a night. May not target same player twice in a row.
Jackie Burkheart - She always gets what she wants. Every night, she sends me a two names, someone who's power she wants to use, and who she wants to target with that power. She will not know what the power is. If she picks a role where more than a name is required I will tell her. May not target same player twice in a row.
Steven Hyde - He has an unlimited supply of pot. Every night, he gives someone some pot, and they tell him what they really are, under the influence.
Leo - Every night he smokes pot with someone. He has much more than Hyde though, and whoever smokes with him, gets taken off the poll, and can't talk or vote the next day. May not target same player twice in a row.
Laurie Foreman - She is Eric's slutty sister. Whoever she has sex with can't use their night power that night. May not target same player twice in a row.
Fez - Fez is a pervert. He spies on random people each night (mafia and goodies) and I send him information
Bob - Has BTSC with Midge.
Midge - Has BTSC with Bob
Mitch Miller - He is the editor of the school newspaper, and sends me an article after each night post. I re-word it and post it. Every 3 nights, he gets to take a picture of someone along with his article, that hints to that person's role
Roy - People don't really like Roy. Because of this, he is always trying to get people to like him. Every night, anyone can PM me with a guess of who Roy is, and who you want him to kill. If you guess right, he will kill your selected victim for you. You only get one guess at who he is, and once you find him, you can only use him once. He may kill one person also
