Yeah, I'm not too fond of Sawyer in S1, he's a jerk, and he always trying to find a way to con someone...even with something he doesn't have. Now, he's a genius of a confidence man, I'll give him that. But an a$$ still the same. I didn't like him.

best line ever, and seriously, how could you hate sawyer after hearing him say that?

Because what he is serious about is wasting time trying to get a cheap thrill while a girl is gasping for air, trying desperately to breathe, and those who could be looking for her medicine or focusing on helping her in other ways are focusing on him because he is pretending to have her medicine. This is low, even for him.

Can't say I would be a much better person if my parents died like that. Ok he is sort of a jerk in the first season but he still won me over with his nicknames and comments. And over time he becomes a lot better.

hate sawyer? i have always loved sawyer...i dont think they want us to hate him....especially with what we learn in this ep.... he is an asshole sometimes (often) but its all a macho-man cover....just like jacks hero complex. although maybe i didnt really always love him and just have made myself believe it...haha

also i love the peanut butter scene....but cringe at charlie sticking those dirty fingers in his mouth...they look so, so dirty..

Yeah, it was pretty narsty. I'm not too fond of anything that involves a squirting artery.

not the best Sawyer-episode, and pretty grim at certain moments ... but a classic season 1 evergreen.
no big Island discoveries, only people talking to people ... but a character like Sawyer needs strong focus, he's a complex guy, sweetheart


btw: 'loophole' is a word just like 'deal' or 'sonofabitch' (which is actually 3 words) ... just because a word is used more than once doesn't necessarily mean something
