I'm pretty sure Kate asking that question was clearly because she wants to flirt with him. The disapointment on her face when Jack explains what he was thinking, is due to the fact that he cannot step out of his "leader" role for two minutes and have a personal conversation alone with her. Nothing wrong with a harmless flirt Jack!

sun is SO hot now! these first eps dont do her justice...she looks nice in the flashback...i think this is a really important point that needs to be discussed!!! hahahahaha

re: a "previously on lost" bit with adam and eve...i think it would be best if the revelation about them is a total surprise OR (given that, as someone said, the average viewer may not remember them) they should have a small reminder dropped in the couple eps before the big reveal. "previously on lost"ing them would cheapen the mystery...its important to us!

I doubt that there are any "average viewers" left at all after the time travel season ... but I agree - it will most likely be similar to the comeback of the statue in Season 5 rather than in a "previously on Lost".

I also miss these musical endings. It's VERY much like many episodes of Alias. I think that the musical endings are something Abrams likes to include, songs from his iPod maybe?

Sun not hot now!? I totally disagree. But I do think she's had work done since the first half of season one: eyes, nose, what have you... Remember the scenes at the end of the Glass Ballerina (S3.2) when she jumps off the boat and Jin dives in to save her? I thought she was beautiful in those shots!

I always thought they made her look super sad in these opening episodes, like she was a battered wife (which she kinda was in the context of these early episodes...little did WE know!!).
