This is the first time that Locke has mentioned how you have to give something up to the island for something you want in return. I kept trying to think of what John gave up, but I can't come up with anything. He got his ability to walk back but he never had to give anything to the island in the first place, so how does he come to the conclusion it's a give and take relationship?

This sis what I miss most from the early episodes of Lost.

The music of the end of episodes is very J.J. Abrams like. When I rewatched those episode earlier this months it made me instantly think of this sort of scenes in "Felicity" which was heavily invested in those kind of scenes. And if you guys remember they actually stopped doing those kind of scenes with a nice excuse.

Remember, Adam & Eve were found with two stones, one black and one white. Another dark/light reference.

Did anybody notice that right after Locke said "Our very own Adam and Eve" the next scene showed Sun and Jin? Could this be a clue ... I mean after all, Adam and Eve only appeared once in 5 seasons and it was a Sun-centric episode ...

Charlie had lots of good moments

Oh Sun/Jin... how I love them and their emotional rollercoaster relationship. Please reunite and get the heck off that island!

As for Adam and Eve, I don't think it's either Sun/Jin or Jack/Kate... right now it looks like it'll be Rose/Bernard, but it could turn out to be someone totally different too. I just hope it doesn't turn out to be Bram and a random female Other or something lame :P

Hmmm, We never get to see what Jack does with those stones after he finds them.

For some reason I just was never made aware the parallel of Adam/Eve in a Jin/Sun centric episode(and in Sun's flashback's she's SO gorgeous! agreed?). That's why I love having you guys help me out with my slowness sometimes

In the beginning of the episode I think it's sad when Sun is watching Jin fishing with his hands and you can tell the disdain she feels, then it pans over to see her looking at Kate/Jack "verbally copulating" (as Charlie puts it), she sees the beginnings of a relationship (like we all do) and longs for those days.

1. Poor Jin and the beginning of a long time with his handcuff

2. The black and white stones... such as in Claire's dream where Locke is sitting at the small table and has one white eye and one black eye and saying; "He was your responsibility but you gave him away, Claire. Everyone pays the price now." I also noticed Charlie's slip-on shoes are black/white checkered! Maybe it means something! jk.
But anyone have any other black/white references? I know there is a list on the wiki, but I would rather here from my fellow wonderful posters!

3. Walt's reaction to Micheal saying "Where I'm from Korean people don't like black people" is great.

4. Kate with her bra given back to her: I thought they had bee's in them
Charlie: I would of thought C's.
hahaha..no

5. Me, being a recovering heroin addict (as a 26 year old) it's definitely hard to watch the next couple episodes, and even though some of it's very sugar coated it is nice to have people from all diversities and illnesses, minorities, etc.

6. Finally I love how they so diligently in S1 especially have certain characters pair up and spend the episode so we can see what everyone is up to.

In conclusion (finally, yes yes I know.. rambling Rand)
Willie Nelson - Are You Sure (I actually have this on my MP3 player lolz)

umm ... he ... DIED for the Island?

also, Sun was kinda hot back then and she's not hot, absolutely not hot at all, now ... how come?

Michael getting his face smashed in by Jin wicked bad was a great WTF-moment. the only other attack that was that furious was Desmond beating Ben to pulp ...

and am I the only one who found it hilarious when Kate asks Jack if he's 'checking her out' and he says 'no' and she's so self-obsessed that she doesn't believe him, until he explains to her what he was actually thinking ... her face OMG LOL ... just super-disappointed that her body isn't the center of attention for once ... made me smile
