Exactly. I think they'll have a lot to say to each other. Maybe Jin will have had 6 months or so (just guessing) to learn better English.

Guys,
When Richard pulls ths slug from Locke's leg there is a time shift soon after. Locke shields his head/face. He is then in daylight looking around. He looks up to see the plane. Is it my imagination or is black smokey under the starboard wing and engine. I don't think it is smoke from a fire as there is none above the wing rising into the air. It appears to be concentrated, uniformly dense and watching/observing Locke? I have been unable to find a thread on this, but here is so much material I might have missed it. Do I need a trip to the optician? |

Copied from Transcript - it's the scene where Daniel is begging Desmond for help and to find his mother:
------------------------------------------------------------------------ [Moments later, Faraday bangs on the back door of the hatch.] FARADAY: [Whispering, and stepping back] Please let this work. Please let this work. Please, please, please, let this work. [He moves forward to pounds on the door again.] [The door bursts open with a creak and a man in a HAZMAT suit emerges, pointing a rifle at Faraday. The gun cocks.] FARADAY: Oh! Oh! Whoa! Whoa. Don't shoot. MAN: [Scottish accent, filtered voice] Then you'd best explain why you've been bangin' on my door for the last 20 minutes, brother. FARADAY: [Sighs] Desmond. DESMOND: [Lowering the gun slightly] Are you him? ---------------------------------------------------------- With the knowledge of Kevin Inman never allowed Desmond to leave the hatch (I think Kevin also would have answered the door if he still was alive then) and Desmond saying "banging on my door" I guess this takes place after Kevin Inman died. But if this is true, why does Desmond wear those Hazmat suit? The day Kevin Inman died Desmond also found out there was no need to wear a Hazmat suit. Any thoughts? Just found another thread about it here ---> http://forum.lostpedia.com/showpost....46&postcount=5 Last edited by parsleybrain; 06-16-2009 at 12:23 PM.. |

I just rewatched this episode with a friend. He was disappointed with the "rules don't apply to you". He thought it was just bad scifi. I disagree. In fact that little scene gave me a new theory.
Desmond is the key to saving Jacob. I don't know how yet, but you heard it hear first. I couldn't understand why Desmond's story didn't end with him attacking Ben. Ms. Hawking told him the island wasn't done with him yet. I think it has to do with saving Jacob. |

Maybe this has been brought up before, but how do you suppose Faraday knew there were going to be a bunch of time changes at the beginning of this episode. After the first one came, he went back to the island and told them they had to get to the hatch before another time change came. My only logical answer would be that his book said something about it because otherwise I don't see how he would just assume the FDW got stuck and was going to kick them around a bunch.

If the plane was just smoking then they probably would have borrowed it from the same episode since it is the only one where the plane would be smoking up there.
